Auch dieses Jahr Lignano hat die Anerkennung der “Blauen Flagge” (gestern 6. Mai 2009), eine anerkannte Öko-Zertifikat von einem unabhängigen internationalen Organisation, die “Foundation for Enviromental Education“. Diese Anerkennung ist unter Berücksichtigung der Sauberkeit von Wasser, Strand Ausrüstung, Ausbildung und ökologische Umwelt, die Beseitigung der Abfälle, etc.. Das Programm wurde im Jahr 1987 geboren.
Für Händler und Gemeinde ist eine große Befriedigung. Für die Touristen die Sicherheit von einem sauberen Meer und einer grünen Stadt.
Zusätzlich zu Lignano, auch Grado, die anderen friulanischen Strand hat die Anerkennung bekommen. Und in diesen Tagen ist die beste Zeit für die Ankunft dieser Auszeichnung, denn die Saison begann der 25. April und der Feier zur Einweihung der Saison findet Sonntag 10. Mai auf der” Terrazza a Mare in Lignano Sabbiadoro statt.
